Photography projects have become very popular over the past several years. They're a great way to challenge yourself, and can really get the creativity flowing! These projects can come in a variety of forms, usually following a theme and done over a specified time period. For example, I completed my first project a couple of years ago, a 365 day project that involved the use of my fisheye lens, which was newly acquired in December 2014 (just in time for 2015!). Fortunately I was working and living in central London at the time, so there was plenty of inspiration (tube stations, subways and some great architecture were amongst my subjects). While I don't have time for a daily project this year, I decided I really wanted to get into a creative project again, hence the Real|Unreal project. This is a weekly project that involves selecting of one of my own photographs and adding a small twist of fantasy to it. It's (deliberately) not complicated, but I've really enjoyed it so far!
